Do you allow dogs?
We accept well behaved dogs, as long as they are kept on a lead and any mess picked up.
There is a fenced in exercise area on site.
What size are your pitches?
The majority of pitches are 10m x 10m - this allows tents of up to 8m x 8m in size.
There are some larger pitches which can be requested on booking.
Do you recycle?
We have always encouraged our visitors to recycle and have boxes for Glass, Plastic, Bottles, Cans, Newspapers and Cardboard. These just need to be cleaned and sorted.
Can I freeze my own ice blocks?
To avoid confusion, we have our own blocks that are kept clean and frozen, which can be hired.
Is there somewhere to dry clothes?
There is a rotary dryer on site. Plus in the Laundry room, there is a washing machine, tumble dryer and spin dryer.
How far is it to the beach?
The site is one mile from Porthtowan Beach, where there are lifeguards during the summer.
There is a Pay & Display car park next to the beach if you want to drive.
Do you have fresh bread in the Shop?
In the peak season, we have bread delivered in the morning by a local bakery,
and at all times we have fresh milk, bacon, eggs, sliced bread - all the basic essentials.
How far to the nearest supermarket?
There is a Tesco on the outskirts of Redruth, about 3 miles away. We are also fortunate to have a good selection of butchers, bakeries and greengrocers in St Agnes as well as Redruth.
Is it a quiet site?
In response to many visitors, we have a strict 'No noise after 11pm policy', which we do enforce.
What is there for children to do in the area?
Nearby there is an Indoor Soft Play at Bombadingas, a Skate Park, Bike track and Cycle hire or perhaps you could let them try Surf lessons.
Is there a Golf Course, Cinema or Swimming pool nearby?
The nearest Golf Course is 4 miles away at Tehidy Park Golf Club. The closest Cinema is in Redruth town centre and Carn Brea Leisure Centre is about 5 miles, providing a good swimming pool with slide and toddler pool.
